Amazing Houston Air Stunts Parade

If you’re looking for some great airplane action in the weeks to come, why not think about attending the Wings Over Houston Air Show? This year marks the 24th annual Ron Carter Wings Over Houston Air Show and, as usual, there will be more than one interesting flight display to see.

The 2008 Wings Over Houston Air Show promises to thrill and excite fans. There will be a wide array of aeronautical things to see, from a precision formation flights to state-of-the-art military hardware. Modern civilian aerobatic aircraft will also play a part in the proceedings. As is usual with this sort of show, there will be both a static and air displays for all to see. The air display will be incredibly varied and feature modern military flights such as the F-18 as well as much older aircraft such as will be displayed in the Air Force Heritage Flight. Performances by the USAF Thunderbirds will no doubt thrill fans as they demonstrate their superior flight prowess. Sean D. Tucker will be performing death-defying aerobatic stunts with Team Oracle Extreme. Julie Clark will give the air display a whiff of elegance, while the A-10 Thunderbolt II ‘warthog’ will do the exact opposite. Warbird fans should simply not miss out on the WWII Airpower Demo, which will showcase a variety of beautifully cared for replica aircraft as they re-enact a number of decisive WWII aerial battles. The Navy Legacy Flight will provide some contrast between old and new, while the RE/MAX skydiving team will wow crowds yet again.
